Use Augmented Reality to inspire

Around the turn of the year ’17/’18, construction engineering company Antea Group published a 500-day newspaper halfway their “1000-day plan” -a research into innovative applications within their company. Among other things, the newspaper provided a visual (Augmented Reality) summary of their services. This, to inspire their employees in their search for the power of virtual engineering.

Popup scenes
With the Antea app you can scan the Antea logo in the 500 day newspaper. On your screen you’ll see a booklet appear in the newspaper. In an animation, the booklet opens and automatically browses through popup scenes of all kinds of worlds in which Antea is active: a bridge over water, a highway, an urban skyline, etc.

Even if you don’t have an Antea newspaper, you can use the app to download a scannable reference image with which you can view all the beauty.

The new mass medium
Antea Group is the third largest engineering bureau in the Netherlands, and also has offices in Belgium, France, USA, India and Brazil
As in the past, the company wants to continue to provide good services to their customers and thinks an important part of this is to focus on innovation in all aspects of the company.
In a “1000-day plan” the company looks at how customer satisfaction, innovation, the visibility of the company and profitability can be lifted to a higher level.

Augmented Reality is, as the mass medium of the very near future, a logical part of a research into innovation.
